If the 2015 season was anything to go by, we are going to have another great year in 2016. The foals for 2016 are just about to arrive. We have top class youngsters coming from our lovely mares who are matched with Wessex Starring Role, Welton Double Cracker and Fransje. We pick our stallion partners very carefully and have, so far, had some really good results.
Key to making great breeding make sense is to then find great riders, coaches and trainers to maximise the potential of each of the horses.
Matheson Wayfarer is aimed at the British Equestrian Federation's three year old potential dressage horse qualifications with young British dressage rider Immie Jones. Immie is training with the Eilberg family. Field sister Leila will be also be produced for the BEF yearling classes, again as potential dual purpose dressage and eventing performer.
Matheson Giselle will be going to Germany to be produced for the mare performance tests and then young horse classes with upcoming Australian dressage rider Will Matthew.
Matheson Roma and Matheson Ada are the foundation stock for a soon to be launched top class eventing horse syndicate under the management of Matheson Stud and a professional business partner.
Looking forward to seeing you at events throughout the season.
